Mukund Daga has been named global head of FX options trading at Nomura. He is based in Singapore.
He reports to Anshul Sidher, head of global markets Asia ex-Japan and co-head of global FX and emerging markets.
Nomura reported JPY 139.2 billion (US$886.8 million) in fixed income revenues for the three months prior to end-July, up 12% year-on-year.
Earlier this year, Richard Hastings joined the firm’s asset management company as a fixed income client portfolio manager.

Daga has close to 15 years of industry experience and has been global head of FX options trading at Barclays Investment Bank for the past year. Prior to this, he led FX options trading for Asia at the bank.
