Michael Richter has joined Virtu Financial as an analyst on the business development team.
Trading solutions provider Virtu reported US$1.1 billion in total revenues over the first quarter, up 30.7% year-on-year (YoY). Net trading income was up 33.8% YoY to US$789 million.
Richter has more than 25 years of industry experience and has been head of trading analytics at S&P Global since 2013. Prior to this, he was head of European equity trading at both Louis Capital Markets and ICAP.
