Florian Chapel has joined BMO Capital Markets as a portfolio manager and tactical trader.
In the London-based role, he specialises in long/short credit and credit derivatives.
BMO Capital Markets reported net income of US$431 million in Q2 2025, down 6% year-on-year.
Chapel has more than 15 years of industry experience and joins BMO from Ironshield Capital Management, where he has been a portfolio manager since 2022. Prior to this, he held the same role at Palm Lane Capital and was a trader and portfolio manager at Pamplona Capital Management.
