Oman Investment Bank has named Jean-Louis Gaucher as head of fixed income sales. He is based in Doha.
The state-owned Oman Investment Bank was launched in February 2024. Founded in line with Oman Vision 2040, the country’s economic and social planning programme, the bank aims to support a competitive national economy.
Gaucher has almost 20 years of industry experience and joins the bank from Qatari bank QNB Group, where he was a portfolio manager and fixed income trader for debt capital markets private placements and public issuances.
Prior to this, he was head of emerging markets and fixed income sales at Intesa Sanpaolo and executive director of fixed income sales at VTB Capital in London.
