BGC Group has launched a fully electronic trading platform for US dollar swaps. Briana Grazioso, director of e-sales at the firm, will lead the business.
Opti Match facilitates greater transparency, more efficient execution and better liquidity in the US dollar swaps market, BGC Group says. The service will initially cover secured overnight financing rate (SOFR) flies and spreads, SOFR Feds basic term and Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), FOMC rates SOFR and overnight index swaps (OIS), and CME/SCH outrights and switches.
Bradley Barclay has joined BGC Group to support the platform’s growth. He reports to Charles Veneziano, executive managing director and head of rates.
Barclay has more than a decade of industry experience, and was most recently a US interest rates swap broker at TP ICAP.
