Christian Rasmussen has joined Verition fund management as head of fixed income finance.
Verition is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. They say they manage US$13bn of funds across a range of strategies from macro to long-short via quant strategies.
Rasmussen recently worked as a consultant, advising Broadridge on intraday repo and generative-AI tooling for secured finance, and Scotiabank on implementation planning for the SEC’s US Treasury clearing rule.
He previously spent nearly 14 years at UBS, where roles included co-global head of Group Treasury repo and head of investments & execution, Americas. While at UBS he led a global repo trading team, built the sponsored repo programme to $20bn in client balances. He also represented the firm on the Alternative Reference Rates Committee (ARRC) during the transition from LIBOR to SOFR.
