Ray Majdalani has joined BNP Paribas as an emerging markets credit trader. He is based in London.
BNP Paribas reported €10 billion in net banking income across the corporate and institutional banking division for Q2 2025, up 4% year-on-year. Within global markets, 5.6% YoY growth to €2.4 billion was driven by FICC activity, it stated.
Majdalani has more than 15 years of industry experience and joins the firm from SMBC Group, where he has been an EM credit trader since 2021. He was named head of EM credit trading last year.
Earlier in his career, Majdalani was head of fixed income trading at Banque Libano-Française and at Cedrus Investment Bank, both in Beirut.
