Based in London, Kerkor leads a team of five traders covering EMEA emerging markets including central and eastern Europe, the middle east, and South Africa and is responsible for increasing ING’s presence in the space.

It has made a series of new hires in recent months, with Alex Yang appointed global head of electronic fixed income trading in January and David Carmalt named head of investment grade debt capital markets (DCM) in December. The company has highlighted its growth targets in DCM, stating that this is a “crucial growth area for clients operating across emerging markets”.
