Shivani Parmar has been promoted to a repo trading role within CIBC Capital Markets’s global credit financing team.
She is based in London.
In Q1 2026, CIBC’s capital markets business reported US$877 million in revenues, up 42% year-on-year.
Parmar has been with CIBC Capital Markets since 2018, initially as an application support analyst before becoming an FX and STIR trading analyst in 2022. She has been an associate at the firm since January.
