Faster quote speeds and low-latency technology are becoming critical to the next phase of fixed income trading says TransFICC founder, Steve Toland. Speaking to Trader TV at the Fixed Income Leaders Summit in Boston, hosted by Worldwide Business Research (WBR), Toland says that banks are handling tens of thousands of quotes per second and need more advanced technologies to optimise throughput without overwhelming venues. He also share his views on the accelerated demand for auto trading across US credit and the firm’s priorities for the remainder of 2026.
