Diego De Giorgi has joined Apollo Global Management as head of EMEA. He is based in London.
In its Q2 financial results, Apollo reported US$1 trillion in assets under management.
Vivek Dasani is head of European trading at the firm.
De Giorgi has more than 30 years of industry experience and joins the firm from Standard Chartered Bank, where he has been group chief financial officer for the last two and a half years.
Other senior roles throughout his career include global head of investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and head of European equity capital markets at Goldman Sachs.
