Alexandre Guignot has joined BNP Paribas CIB as head of credit e-trading in Europe.
BNP Paribas reported strong second quarter revenues in fixed income trading at €1.4 billion up 28% year-one year.

Guignot was most recently a director and EMEA head of credit quantitative trading at Citi, a role he has held since 2023. He was previously vice president and a credit algo trader at the firm, covering corporate bond algorithmic market making, portfolio trading, and fixed-income ETF creation, redemption and market making.
Before Citi, Guignot spent ten years at HSBC, where he was promoted from quantitative analyst to associate director for credit algorithmic trading.
