Liam Spillane has joined Manulife Investment Management as head of emerging markets fixed income, and senior portfolio manager for emerging markets debt.
He is based in London.
Manulife IM holds more than US$561 billion in assets under management, more than US$202 billion of which is fixed income.
Spillane has more than 30 years of industry experience and joins the company from Aviva Investors, where he was more recently head of emerging market debt. Earlier in his career, he was a senior currency manager at Overlay Asset Management and Fortis Investments.
