Citi has named James Carolan as global head of FX structuring and solutions, effective July.
Based in New York, he reports to global head of FX Flavio Figueiredo.
In the role, Carolan is responsible for the team’s client solutions and delivery of risk advisory content as Citi aims to grow the business.
Carolan has 15 years of industry experience and joins Citi from Deutsche Bank, where he has been head of North Americas corporate macro structuring, global head of deal contingent structuring, and global head of institutional FX structuring.
Earlier in his career, he covered FICC structuring and client solutions at Goldman Sachs.
