Citi has appointed Florian Eichert as a managing director on the sovereign, supranational and agency (SSA) and covered bond trading team.
He is based in Frankfurt.
Citi reported US$5.2 billion in fixed income markets revenues for Q1 2026, up 13% year-on-year (YoY). Rates and currencies made up US$3.3 billion of this, up 6% YoY.
Eichert has more than two decades of industry experience and has spent the majority of his career at Credit Agricole. He was most recently head of covered bond and SSA research.
