Azhar Hussain has joined Amundi as a portfolio manager and head of global high yield.
He is based in London.
Investment manager Amundi reported €2.6 trillion in assets under management in its Q2 results, up 14% year-on-year. Christophe Kieffer is head of the firm’s trading desk, Amundi Intermediation.
Hussain has more than 25 years of industry experience, the bulk of which was spent at Royal London Asset Management. He joined the firm in 2012 as global head of high yield before becoming head of global credit and, in 2025, head of leveraged finance. He left the company last June.
