Kyriakos Manolis has joined UBS as head of USD rates trading for the EMEA region. He is based in London.
Foreign exchange, rates and credit contributed a reported US$667 million to UBS’s earnings in Q1 2025, up 27% year-on-year.
Manolis has 15 years of industry experience and has been a USD rates trader at Citadel Securities since 2022. Prior to this, he held the same role at Barclays for three years.
Earlier in his career, Manolis was an algorithmic trader focused on statistical arbitrage at Four Elements Capital in Singapore. He also spent close to six years at Commerzbank in both London and Singapore as an interest rate exotics and derivatives trader.
