Gav Collins has swapped Trumid for MarketAxess, being named head of the transformation office.
Based in London, Collins will work on the firm’s long-term strategic change and operational efficiency within the product engineering business. He reports to EMEA and APAC head of trading solutions Gareth Coltman.
Last month, MarketAxess pulled ahead of US electronic credit trading levels rivals with a combined HY and IG ADV of US$8.67 billion.

Collins has more than 20 years of industry experience and was head of attributed trading at Trumid for almost two years. Prior to this, he was chief product officer at Neptune Networks and executive director of digital transformation at UBS.
Earlier in his career, Collins was head of electronic product development at BNP Paribas and an electronic markets product manager at Deutsche Bank.
