MarketAxess has named Dean Berry as group CEO and chief operating officer for the EMEA and APAC regions, effective Q4 2025.
In the London-based role, Berry is responsible for MarketAxess’s global operations, risk, and product and technology divisions. He reports to MarketAxess CEO Chris Concannon.
With three decades of industry experience Berry joins MarketAxess from LSEG, where he has been group head of workflows since January 2024. In December 2024, also took on the role of interim group co-head of the data and analytics business.
On his appointment, Berry commented: “I believe my previous experience as both a fixed income trader and as a champion of electronic trading, as well as my track record of profitable product-led innovation, will set us up for continued success.”
Throughout his career, Berry has held senior roles including global head of electronic and hybrid markets at BGC Partners, CEO of global ecommerce and APAC chief operating officer at ICAP, and chief dealer at Nordea Markets.
