Etrading Software has announced the members of its consultative committee, which will provide recommendations and external advice on the UK bond tape’s recommendations.
Of the 20 committee members, 11 are data users, five are data contributors, three are vendors, and one is an academic consultant. Members can be appointed and removed at the board’s discretion at any time. A chair or co-chairs will be appointed by the group.
Further subcommittees may be established for specific issues, which could include members from outside the committee.
Commenting via LinkedIn, Etrading Software CEO Sassan Danesh commented, “We are grateful to all applicants for their engagement. The strength of the applicant pool underlines the importance of the UK Bond Consolidated Tape to the wider market.”
Observing members of the committee will be confirmed on 2 March, before the first meeting on 10 March. Meetings will be held on a quarterly basis.
