FIM Partners has hired Nicholas Nellis as a portfolio manager and trader focused on emerging-market debt.
He joins the London and Dubai-based investment manager after eight years at MEAG, where he most recently served as a senior trader on the multi-asset trading desk, covering FX, rates and CDS.
FIM Partners says it manages US$4.3 bn for university endowments, sovereign wealth funds and outsourced CIOs.
Nellis said: “ I am excited to be working together again” with former colleague Francesc Balcells.”
Before MEAG, he spent seven years at PIMCO in portfolio associate roles covering G10 and EMEA EM FX and supporting global fixed-income and ABS portfolios.
