Harvie moves to Nomura

James Harvie has joined Nomura’s FX emerging markets business.

In the New York-based role, Harvie covers client-oriented risk solutions across foreign exchange, local markets, structured solutions and macro strategies.

Harvie has more than a decade of industry experience and joins Nomura from Brazilian financial services company XP Investimentos, where he was co-head of macro and built out the FICC trading business to offer LatAm products to US and UK clients.

The bulk of Harvie’s career has been spent at Deutsche Bank, most recently as head of emerging markets sales for North America covering credit, FX and rates.
