Irvine swaps Aberdeen for BNPP AM

Jamie Irvine has joined BNP Paribas Asset Management as a portfolio manager on the global aggregate and absolute return team.

Based in London, he reports to James McAlevey, head of global aggregate and absolute return.

BNP Paribas Asset Management holds a reported €612 billion in assets under management.

Irvine joins from Aberdeen, where he began his career in 2013. He was most recently an investment director at the company, before which he was an investment manager for sterling investment grade credit and aggregate. He joined the company as a portfolio analyst for UK fixed income.

Commenting on his appointment via LinkedIn, Irvine said, “The team has been building some real momentum and I’m very excited to be part of its journey ahead.”
