UBS Asset Management has hired Julian Hill as a fixed-income rates trader in London.
Hill arrives from Bloomberg, where he spent 18 months as a fixed-income derivatives market specialist, following 14 years at abrdn as a fixed-income and FX dealer and earlier portfolio-analyst roles. He previously worked in project-management and fund-administration posts at Deutsche Asset Management and Morgan Grenfell.
UBS Asset Management managed about US $1.8 trillion in client assets according to its 2024 annual report, with its fixed-income division spanning government bonds, rates, credit and derivative strategies.
