FX and digital assets exchange LMAX Group has named Ilya Khazen as head of cross-asset sales. Based in New York, he reports to managing director of LMAX Digital Chris Knight.
The newly-created role has been established following the introduction of greater regulatory clarity around digital assets in the US.

With 16 years of industry experience, Khazen joins LMAX from Copper.co where he has been co-head of sales for the Americas since 2022, covering custody, clearing and prime services for digital assets.
Prior to this, he was vice president of global markets institutional sales of listed derivatives and over-the-counter clearing at Societe Generale and vice president of prime brokerage at Goldman Sachs.
