Mediolanum International Funds is an Irish asset management, offering 65 funds which it reports hold €70.8 billion in assets under management as of December 2024.
He joins from Robeco.where he spent more than a decade as a quantitative credit portfolio manager.
At Robeco, Whirdy managed over €4.5 billion across systematic credit strategies, including global multi-factor and high-yield mandates, and was involved in developing portfolio-management infrastructure with embedded corporate bond liquidity management.
Before Robeco, he held quantitative credit roles at Pioneer Investments, now part of Amundi, where he managed euro investment-grade credit strategies, and earlier worked as a quantitative equities analyst.
