Labuan-headquartered Islamic investment firm RUSD Investment Bank has named Maxim Shashenkov as a managing director.
Based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Shashenkov is responsible for the firm’s international investment banking business and global development, specialising in Western, Asian and ex-Soviet Union markets.
Shashenkov has close to three decades of industry experience and joins RUSD from self-founded venture capital fund NRG Ventures. Prior to this, he was managing director and head of global business development for private equity asset manager VPE Capital and a director at EFG Bank.
