TD Securities names new co-heads of global markets

Chris Vogel and Tim Wiggan have been promoted to co-heads of global markets at Toronto Dominion Securities (TD Securities).

In a statement the firm said, “Chris and Tim bring extensive and complementary backgrounds to their new role. We’re looking forward to seeing how they will grow the business as they continue to build on our strong foundation and be where our clients want to go next.”

Vogel, who is based in New York, was promoted from his role as executive managing director for global markets and global head of FX, Repo & NAFI.

He joined TD Securities in 2017 from BlackRock where he was global co-head of trading from 2016 onward, BlackRock Execution Services (BES) CEO and global head of fixed income & currency trading. Prior to that he held various senior positions covering interest rates derivatives trading and FX trading at firms including Bank of America and JP Morgan.

Wiggan, who is based in Ontario, joined TD Securities in 1997 and in his 24-year tenure has held the positions of co-head institutional equity sales; head of TD Asset Management; and most recently head of equities/commodities.
