Matt Coupe has joined the fixed income trading team at Susquehanna. He is based in London
Coupe was most recently director of market structure at Barclays Investment Bank, a role he held between 2015 and May 2024. He has been EMEA co-chair of the FIX Trading Community since 2016, and held roles on both the Financial Markets Standards Board and the CFTC’s Global Market Structure Subcommittee.
Earlier in his career, he focused on sales at firms including NICE Actimize, RedKite FInancial Markets and FTEN.
On his appointment, Coupe said: “[I am] thrilled to be joining Susquehanna; it is a company which I have long admired, and it is a firm that is constantly evolving and developing alongside the changes that we are seeing in market structure.”
