Adams swaps JP Morgan for Wells Fargo

Charles Adams has joined Wells Fargo as a senior lead for European rates securities trading after almost 15 years at JP Morgan.

Based in London, he is responsible for trading and building out a market making platform for supranationals, sovereigns and agencies (SSA) and related rates securities.

Wells Fargo reported US$1.2 billion in FICC revenues for Q4 2025 within its corporate and investment banking segment, down 1% year-on-year and down 14% quarter-on-quarter.

Adams began his career as an analyst at JP Morgan in 2011, later becoming a US Treasuries trader, a repo trader, and being named head of EMEA SSA and credit repo trading in 2024. He left the bank in June 2025.
