Dealogic data shows US investment banks have entrenched their dominance across financing in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The latest rankings for the regions holding roughly 29% of all investment‑banking fees in EMEA. JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Citi, Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Securities have consistently occupied the top five positions in regional league tables, with the leading European competitor – BNP Paribas – ranking sixth.

However, in the Middle East, HSBC and Standard Chartered have retained leading positions, with first and fourth placements in the Dealogic DCM rankings.
The biggest corporate bond placement in the region were via SRC Sukuk Co Ltd, which increased its notional by 200% with a US$4.5 billion placement.
