Liquidnet has named Michael Gibbons as global head of listed derivatives business development.
Based in New York, he reports to global head of listed derivatives Marianna Rayetskyy.
In the role, he is responsible for the global expansion of the firm’s listed derivatives strategy, maintaining current client relationships and identifying emerging futures and options trading opportunities.
Gibbons has 20 years of industry experience and has led Morgan Stanley’s listed derivatives electronic trading operations since 2013. Earlier in his career, he was vice president of electronic futures sales and coverage at Goldman Sachs.
