Tellimer Group and information, data & technology provider has launched end-of-month emerging market (EM) bond price data on its global research and data platform, Tellimer Insights.

Built specifically for the professional investment market audience, this source of data comprises end-of-month pricing for thousands of emerging markets hard-currency corporate and sovereign bonds to offer investors accurate pricing.

This monthly pricing data is powered by 7 Chord’s BondDroid – an AI system that implies trade bid/ask levels using executed prices, firm quotes, and an ensemble of models which try and deliver accuracy across market regimes, issuer credit quality, and instrument life cycles – with final datasets made available exclusively to subscribers of the Tellimer Insights platform as a monthly download.

Duncan Wales, CEO of Tellimer Group, said, “We are delighted to partner with AI data leader 7 Chord, to offer clients everywhere a valuable window on EM bond markets. This pricing data will become an essential workflow, valuation, and risk management component for investors, insurers and market participants around the world, and is part of our mission to make markets more transparent and key information more accessible to professional users.”

Tellimer Insights offers research produced by its own in-house team of analysts and access to investment research and data from a network of global banks, independent research providers, supranational agencies, and key institutions in global financial markets. Areas of coverage include investment strategy, sovereign and corporate bonds, equities, fintech, crypto and macroeconomics.

“Accurate pricing becomes a “must have” in times of volatility, especially in a sector notorious for the lack of price transparency”, said Kristina Fan, CEO, and Co-Founder of 7 Chord. “This collaboration is just the beginning of our work with Tellimer to improve the quality of pricing available to buyers and sellers of emerging markets sovereign and corporate debt. We have planned several other initiatives that will leverage Tellimer’s deep country risk expertise, advance the predictive quality of our pricing and benefit all market participants as a result.”
